Yorktown Veteran's Day Parade - Sunday November 10th, 2:00PM
Families are invited to attend the annual Yorktown Veterans Day parade! Veterans and veterans groups are invited to begin the march at Lakeland High School main parking lot, along with any flags and banners. Veteran's Day Ceremony, Cortland, NY - Monday November 11th, 11:00AM
The town of Cortlandt invites families to honor those who have served and are still serving in the United States Armed Forces on Monday, November 11. The annual Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at 11:00 am at the Muriel H. Morabito Community, with lunch provided. Veterans Day Ceremony, White Plains - Monday November 11th, 10:30AM
White Plains is set to honor Veterans Day with a meaningful ceremony, thoughtfully organized by the Mayor’s Memorial and Veterans Day Board. Somers, NY Veterans Day Parade - Monday November 11th, 10:30AM
Join the community of Somers for a parade honoring all who served, starting at 10:25 a.m. at Somers Middle School. The procession will march to Ivandell Cemetery, where a ceremony will commence at 11:00 am. Following the ceremony, families are invited to enjoy refreshments at the Somers Townhouse. Veteran's Day Celebration, Bedford Hills - Monday November 11th, 1:30PM
Families can experience the pride of West Point’s Color Guard, explore an impressive display of vintage military vehicles, and more. The community will have the opportunity to engage with various service organizations, create holiday cards for our brave veterans, and enjoy delicious food, refreshing beverages, and live music. The ceremony is set to begin at 1:30 pm. Families are encouraged to bring a toy for the USMC Toys for Tots program to share in the spirit of giving this holiday season. 74 Main Street

105th Annual New York City Veteran's Day Parade - Monday November 11th, 12:30PM - 3:30PM
Now in its 105th year, the Veterans Day parade honors those serving in all United States military branches. Hosted by the United War Veterans Council, the parade is expected to feature 20,000 marchers and over 150 vehicles throughout the day. Though all branches are acknowledged in the parade, this year’s featured service branch is the United States Marine Corps.
The parade will follow Fifth Avenue, starting at 26th Street and finishing at 47th Street. The parade will step off at 12:30 p.m. and will last until 3:30 p.m. Prior to the parade, a wreath procession to the Eternal Light Memorial.
This year’s Grand Marshal will be retired Marine Sgt. Dakota Meyer, who was the first recipient of the Marine Corps Medal of Honor for his work in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spectators are welcome to watch along the parade route the day of the event. If you’re unable to make it to the actual parade and still would like to watch, it will air on WABC and stream online via WABC or Military.com.
