We focus on empowering development through cozy, high-quality garments that remain soft and durable throughout a child's busy day of play.
We implement eco-friendly manufacturing by recycling virtually all fabric and plastic waste, utilizing solar-powered energy in part of our U.S. facilities.
Water Reduction
Our primary dye house uses only bluesign® approved dyes, chemicals, and softeners, guaranteeing our fabrics do not contain hazardous chemicals or environmentally harmful substances. Any wastewater produced undergoes extensive treatment in water reclamation sites to treat the wastewater and ensure no chemicals or dyes end up in our natural water systems.
Energy Reduction
We are working to reduce our energy consumption throughout our operations. If you take a quick tour through our Los Angeles headquarters, you'll find we use motion-sensor LED lighting, skylights throughout each building, and have electric car charging stations to encourage employees to go green. We're also exploring opportunities to install solar panels in certain facilities, which will power a substantial amount of those facilities' operations and generate excess power for the local community grid.
Waste Reduction
We've optimized our cutting facility in Los Angeles to reduce waste, and we accumulate all fabric waste scraps and recycle or repurpose them. We're proud to partner with vendors to recycle them into a number of things like baby bibs, dog bed filling, or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!
Children grow quick, all of our sizes are based on the child’s age. We suggest purchasing the size above their age to ensure fit and to allow the child to grow into the item. We do not accept returns or exchanges based on sizing.
Baby Onesies: Regular fit. Standard length, the fabric easily gives into movement.
3-6M: fits babies approx. 9–16 lbs, up to 26 in.
6-12M: fits babies approx. 16–22 lbs, up to 29 in.
12-18M: fits babies approx. 22–27 lbs, up to 31 in.
Not sure on size? Babies grow quick, we recommend 6-12M and 12-18M for newborns. You save 10% on both.
Toddler Tees: Relaxed fit that provides extra comfort and free movement.
2T: fits toddlers approx. 25–27 lbs, 33–35 in.
3T: fits toddlers approx. 28–32 lbs, 36–38 in.
4T: fits toddlers approx. 33–38 lbs, 39–41 in.
5T: fits toddlers approx. 39–44 lbs, 42–44 in.

Note: Because children tend to grow quick, we do not accept returns for items that do not fit your child. This is why we recommend ordering up a size or two so the child can grow into the product and wear it many times.

Yes our clothes are all machine washable. We suggest the following: machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
Absolutely. You can ship directly to the recipient and add their address at checkout. Many of our customers send Future Apparel as baby shower, birthday, or holiday gifts.
We are a US apparel company that prioritizes sustainability by limiting and filtering its water supply, saving energy, and recycling leftover fabric. Our products are sourced and made in the US, Nicaragua and Honduras. Printing of designs on clothing products take place in the U.S.
We currently only offer our products in the United States. Our pricing to ship is $4.49 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item. We offer free shipping on orders containing 3+ items. Orders in the United States will arrive 5-10 business days from purchase.
We accept returns within 30 days of receipt for misprinted/damaged/defective items. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense. You must notify us at hello@dadandmeplaytime.com within 30 days of receipt. We do not accept returns or exchanges for new sizes.
